Workflow modernization and personalized software for Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Sales teams, and PE portfolio companies.

We ship working systems in production, not decks.

How we work

Software that fits the way your company actually works.

Most teams run their operation on platforms their people have to feed. We build the opposite: systems shaped to your workflows, with AI agents handling the routine work and your people deciding the things worth deciding.

We start by understanding how your work actually flows, then build alongside the people who do it. Senior practitioners embed with your team, decisions happen in weeks instead of quarters, and we stay on to run and sharpen what we build.

Team

Experience from the companies that set the bar.

Team experience includes Amazon, CommerceIQ, Microsoft, Kantar, AWS, ElevateK12, Gainsight and Staircase.

The method

Every engagement follows four phases.

1

Current-State Audit

Assess data, tech stack, processes, and team. An honest baseline before we recommend anything.

2

Gap Analysis & Roadmap

Gaps scored by impact and effort. Stakeholders aligned on a sequenced plan before build begins.

3

Execute & Deploy

Working capability built and deployed in production, tested against real data before it enters the workflow.

4

Embed & Operate

Your team trained, the capability embedded in daily work. We stay on as your operating partner, running the system, tuning the agents, and expanding it as you grow.

Focus areas

Three areas. Each anchored by a product in production.

We go deep where we have already built and shipped. Every focus area is anchored by a product born in the studio, proven with customers, and shaped to each team we deploy it with.

Customer Success

Health scoring, renewal forecasting, onboarding, QBRs, and the Monday morning workflow, run by agents with your team approving the output.

CS Health A complete customer health operating system, from confirmed KPIs at kickoff to renewal.

Product Marketing

Competitive intelligence, positioning, messaging, and campaign briefs produced continuously as a system instead of in quarterly sprints.

GTM Intelligence Thirty-plus production workflows from research to distribution-ready messaging.

Agent Operations

The operating layer that keeps an agent workforce trustworthy: staged pipelines, approval queues, and full cost visibility on every action.

Command Center The orchestration layer every deployment ships with.

The platform

The same system we run ourselves, every day.

Agents do the work

Health scores, QBRs, briefs, and reports, drafted for your approval.

You tune the trust

Three tiers decide what runs on its own and what waits for people.

You see every cost

Every run metered in dollars. Hundreds a month, not a headcount.

Frequently asked questions
What is Stapler Studios?
Stapler Studios is an AI product studio that builds personalized software and modernizes workflows for B2B companies, across the customer lifecycle: customer success, onboarding, support, marketing, product, and sales. Products are built and proven in the studio, then deployed inside client operations and run jointly with client teams.
Who is behind Stapler Studios?
Stapler Studios was founded by Dane Tomalin, who serves as CEO. Dane brings extensive software as a service experience across customer success, product, and go to market leadership, and founded the studio with a single focus: bringing agentic workflows into the enterprise as cost efficiently as possible. That focus shows up in the product itself. Every agent action is metered by model, tokens, and dollars, so clients see exactly what the work costs and modernization is priced against the systems and headcount it replaces.
What does an AI product studio do?
An AI product studio designs, builds, and operates AI-powered software products rather than delivering advice or one-off projects. Stapler Studios builds its own products first, runs them in production, and then tailors and deploys them for clients. Every engagement starts from working software, not a blank page.
What is workflow modernization?
Workflow modernization means rebuilding how work actually flows through a team by replacing manual data assembly, reporting, and monitoring with AI agents that do the work while people review and approve. The result is the same operation with dramatically less manual effort and faster, more consistent output.
How is this different from buying a customer success platform like Gainsight or Planhat?
A customer success platform gives your team a dashboard your people must feed and operate. Stapler Studios deploys a system shaped to your workflows in which AI agents do the operating, health scoring, forecasting, reporting, and meeting preparation, with your team approving the output. It typically replaces the platform license, the implementation project, and the administrative headcount required to run it.
How long does a deployment take?
An AI Readiness Audit takes two to four weeks. Individual capability deployments take four to twelve weeks depending on scope. A full end-to-end deployment of the complete operating system is a phased program of four to six months, where each phase must be adopted before the next begins.
How are the AI agents governed?
Every agent runs under a trust-tier system with three levels: autonomous, fast-track, and requires-approval. Internal analysis can run autonomously; anything customer-facing routes through human approval. Every agent action is logged with its model, token usage, and cost, and every correction a team makes becomes an operating rule the system respects going forward.
Who does Stapler Studios work with?
Stapler Studios works with B2B software and recurring-revenue companies, frequently private-equity portfolio companies, that have dedicated customer success teams and want AI working in production rather than in pilots. Engagements are led by senior practitioners in customer success operations and AI engineering.
What does an engagement cost?
Engagements are priced against the systems and costs they replace, typically a platform license, its implementation, and the administration required to operate it, rather than billed hourly. The AI Readiness Audit establishes scope and a sequenced roadmap before any build investment is made.
